The European University of Rome, through CESMaT – the Centre for Simulation in Medical Advanced Training, is organising “Cuore in Provincia”, a ‘Third Mission’ event dedicated to cardiovascular prevention and the promotion of health across the region. From 10.00 to 17.00, in Piazza Aldo Moro in Formia, members of the public will have free access to a prevention programme comprising a cardiology consultation, an ECG, an assessment of risk factors and advice, with an echocardiogram carried out if recommended by a doctor.
The aim is to bring prevention closer to the public and foster greater awareness of cardiovascular risk factors, strengthening the link between the university, the healthcare system and the local community, whilst promoting a vision of health that focuses on the individual’s overall wellbeing.
